INGREDIENTS (6 PEOPLE)

  • 680 g ground beef (±1½ lb)
  • 1/4 bunch parsley (finely chopped)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 5 ml salt (±1 tsp)
  • 15 ml onion powder (±1 tbsp)
  • 60 ml adobo sauce (±¼ cup)
  • For serving:
  • Burger buns, lettuce, tomato, sliced cheese, sliced avocado, crispy bacon
  • Chipotle Mayo
  • 3 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 110 g mayonnaise (±½ cup)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, parsley, garlic, salt, onion powder and adobo sauce just until combined. Cover and allow flavors to marinate at room temperature for 30 min.

  2. While burger meat is marinating, add chipotle peppers to SuperSonic Chopper Compact. Cover and pull cord to finely chop. Add mayonnaise and pull cord until thoroughly combined.

  3. Evenly divide ground beef in 6 equal portions and form into patties using the Hamburger Press.

  4. Heat a large fry pan on medium heat, adding a small amount of oil if needed. Add 3 burger patties to fry pan and cook for 2-3 min.* Flip patties, cook for 1-2 min., then add sliced cheese on top, place cover on fry pan and cook for 1 min. Adjust cooking time as needed until you reach desired doneness. Remove from fry pan and repeat with remaining patties.

  5. Remove burgers from pan and allow to rest for 5-10 min. before serving.

  6. Spread chipotle mayo on burger buns, add patties and desired toppings.

*Check internal temperature to find out if your burger is done to your liking! And remember to remove burgers from pan a little before desired temperature, as the internal temperature will continue to rise after cooking.
